Vintage Strains is an eclectic, mostly electronic collection of instrumental bits and pieces that I recorded from 1975 to 2015.
I generated a lot of music during that period for personal projects, singers, bands, radio and TV spots, industrials, films, demo reels, and computer games. Unfortunately (or perhaps fortunately in a couple of cases), much of this work has since been lost. (My fault for being a sloppy archivist.)
So, recently I began to sift through the surviving material to find and preserve any interesting pieces. For better or worse, Vintage Strains represents a portion of that cull, which is, at the time of this writing, still in progress.
I hope you enjoy it. If you don't, please don't tell anybody! (Pro tip: A little Spanish Trampoline may help.)
Note: audio quality varies due to my placing different kinds of sources from different eras together, but some care has been taken to get everything cleaned up and in the same sonic zone.
